Technical Resources Manager

Purpose

The Technical Resources Manager will recruit, manage and coordinate the NEP Integrated Solutions technical staffing (field staffing and internal technical operations) based on established budgets and directives. Manage activities of NEP Integrated Solutions technical personnel in concert with current projects and future needs.

This role is based out of Grapevine, TX location.

Essential Duties/Responsibilities

  • Supervise technical staff and monitor project progress to ensure project staffing needs and goals are being achieved. Collaborate and share information with PM in weekly meetings.
  • Recruit and maintain appropriate staffing level of technicians, installers, and apprentices to meet current and future needs of the business.
    a. Establish standards for each position
    b. Develop career path (outline and guide) for evaluating and planning goals for each Tech.
    c. Have quarterly meetings with all field staff to insure progress towards goals.
    d. Have weekly one on one meetings with leads regarding field operations and staff capacity, capability, tooling, and training.
  • Establish a strong working relationship with NEP HR
  • Monitor the business sales forecast and identify, provide analysis, and make recommendations to the director of NEP Integrated Solutions on labor resourcing trends including both threats and opportunities.
  • Collaborate with the project managers (weekly meeting) on staffing needs, areas of specialization, and project progress, timelines, and resource needs.

Position Requirement

  • Bachelor’s degree in communications, however a combination of education and experience will be considered.
  • Experience within the broadcast industry, production for major commercial and cable TV networks a plus.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of television production management, planning, technology, equipment, and facilities for major commercial and cable television network a plus.
  • Previous integration/low voltage experience preferred.
  • Previous financial experience strongly preferred.
  • Strong Microsoft Excel, Word and MS Project skills.
