Lead Generation Manager

Purpose

NEP Group is seeking a forward-thinking Business Development Lead who will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities and expanding into emerging markets. This role will leverage AI-driven insights and marketing automation tools to proactively discover, engage, and prequalify potential leads for the sales team. The ideal candidate will be highly analytical, tech-savvy, and passionate about building scalable lead generation strategies.

Essential Duties/Responsibilities

  • Market Expansion & Lead Identification
  1. Research and analyze new markets, industries, and customer segments with high growth potential.
  2. Utilize AI-powered platforms and predictive analytics to uncover prospective accounts and decision-makers.
  3. Monitor trends, competitor activities, and emerging technologies to inform lead generation strategy.
  • AI & Marketing Automation
  1. Deploy and manage marketing automation tools (HubSpot, Salesforce, Marketo, etc.) to run targeted campaigns.
  2. Implement AI models for lead scoring, segmentation, and intent analysis.
  3. Continuously optimize workflows to increase efficiency in prequalifying leads before passing them to sales.
  • Lead Qualification & Handoff
  1. Establish criteria for evaluating and prequalifying leads based on company objectives.
  2. Collaborate with sales teams to ensure seamless lead handoff and alignment on pipeline targets.
  3. Track and report lead-to-conversion metrics, refining the process over time.
  • Collaboration & Strategy
  1. Partner with marketing, product, and sales teams to ensure outreach aligns with brand and business strategy.
  2. Contribute to strategic planning by presenting insights on new markets and growth opportunities.
  3. Provide feedback loops to enhance AI and automation systems based on real-world sales outcomes.

Position Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Data Science, or related field (MBA is a plus).
  • Proven experience in business development, lead generation, or sales operations.
  • Hands-on expertise with AI tools for sales/marketing, predictive analytics, and automation platforms.
  • Strong understanding of CRM systems and marketing automation (Salesforce, HubSpot, Marketo, Pardot, etc.).
  • Data-driven mindset with the ability to interpret analytics and convert insights into actionable strategies.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience entering new or international markets.
