Purpose
NEP is seeking a strategic and operationally focused Vice President, US Commercial Operations to serve as the operational leader for commercial functions across our US Media Services business. Reporting to the Chief Commercial Officer (CCO), this role is responsible for driving commercial excellence, operational efficiency, revenue growth, margin improvement, and scalable business processes across the region.
The VP, US Commercial Operations will lead the commercial operations engine, including Revenue Operations, CRM administration, pipeline management, commercial analytics, sales enablement, growth marketing, commercial governance, and account management support. This leader will play a critical role in building the infrastructure, processes, and accountability frameworks that enable data-driven decision-making, sales effectiveness, and sustainable growth.
This position partners closely with commercial, finance, legal, engineering, operations, technology, and marketing leadership while maintaining a strong alignment with global commercial operations initiatives and standards.
What You'll Do
- Lead and optimize commercial operations across the US Media Services business, driving operational excellence, revenue growth, profitability, and scalability.
- Oversee Revenue Operations, including CRM administration, pipeline governance, forecasting, reporting, analytics, sales enablement, and commercial systems.
- Build and continuously improve commercial processes, governance, and infrastructure that enhance sales effectiveness, operational efficiency, and pipeline visibility.
- Drive CRM adoption, data integrity, forecasting accuracy, and commercial discipline across the organization.
- Lead the Internal Approval (IA) process from opportunity through contract execution, ensuring effective cross-functional collaboration and governance.
- Oversee operational support for commercial deals, investment analysis, contract approvals, and enterprise RFP responses.
- Define, monitor, and communicate key commercial KPIs and performance metrics to support data-driven decision-making and business performance.
- Partner with Commercial, Finance, and Operations leaders to optimize pricing strategies, improve profitability, and strengthen competitive positioning.
- Lead growth marketing, account management, and sales support functions to drive pipeline development, customer retention, and account growth.
- Develop and lead a high-performing commercial operations team while aligning regional processes and initiatives with global commercial operations standards and best practices
What You'll Need
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Marketing, Operations, or a related field required; MBA preferred.
- 10+ years of progressive experience in commercial operations, revenue operations, sales operations, or related business leadership roles.
- Deep expertise in CRM systems, pipeline management, forecasting, analytics, reporting, and commercial operations.
- Proven success leading cross-functional operational initiatives within complex commercial organizations.
- Strong financial, contractual, commercial, analytical, and operational acumen.
- Demonstrated ability to lead teams, influence senior stakeholders, and drive organizational alignment.
- Strong problem-solving capabilities with a continuous improvement mindset.
- Willingness to travel as business needs require.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience within media, broadcast, technology, sports, entertainment, or related industries.
- Experience supporting enterprise sales organizations and complex commercial deal structures.
- Familiarity with global operating models and multi-region commercial operations environments.
- Experience implementing operational transformation initiatives and scalable business processes.
