The Procurement Specialist will support the Director, US Procurement on savings-focused priorities across NEP’s Media Services division. In partnership with operational and other stakeholders across NEP’s locations, the Procurement Specialist will support initiatives to identify preferred suppliers, negotiate terms, drive the strategic sourcing process, and deliver value back to the business through reductions in both capex and opex spend and contribute to Global Procurements overall operating plan. The Procurement Specialist will also be responsible for maintaining internal and external relationships, supporting the needs of a team of buyers, own procurement projects, drive best practices, and ensure the quality and integrity of purchasing data.

• Support the implementation of category sourcing strategies across the globe
• Identify opportunities for cost savings through the sourcing process
• Directly negotiate with key suppliers to establish or improve pricing and maintain supplier agreements
• Perform data/spend analysis to identify opportunities for competitive bidding, supplier negotiations, and continuous improvement
• Create, manage, and analyze requests for proposals
• Interact and support the needs of various stakeholders, including engineering, IT, facilities, finance, legal, and others
• Participate in cross-functional teams
• Ensure compliance with best procurement practices
• Manage a pipeline of projects with a focus on hard dollar savings

Required Skills

• 3-5 years of experience in sourcing and procurement, preferably with a global company
• Comprehensive background in data analytics and the ability to consolidate multiple sources of data into actionable intelligence
• Strong project management skills
• Excellent communication and written/verbal presentation skills
• Capable of leading or supporting multiple concurrent initiatives

• Experience in media or broadcast production industry
• Experience in a technology environment
